I post here daily about what we accomplished in class each day, including handouts and links available to students on my CANVAS site.
Honors classes: We started class with vocabulary notes and then moved quickly into presentations from Groups 3 and 4. We ended with a discussion/notes on symbolism in the play. Homework: Groups 5 and 6 present tomorrow in class. Anyone who wants to revise the hero letter to earn back up to 5% must do so and turn in the revised letter with revisions highlighted by tomorrow.
Academic class: We completed a review of vocabulary words at the beginning of class using Quizlet Live. We will continue to review tomorrow, with a quiz on Monday. Next, we finished reading Scene II of Oedipus, completed the comprehension/discussion questions, and took the Canvas "quiz' on Scene II to reinforce comprehension (counts as a classwork/homework grade). Finally, students got back their sentence structure terminology quiz from yesterday, highlighted terms to study, and wrote example sentences for each term missed. Homework: Finish grammar assignment (sentences) if necessary.
