I post here daily about what we accomplished in class each day, including handouts and links available to students on my CANVAS site.
We started class today by writing ACES paragraphs in groups. The writing prompt was "What is the main idea of the essay “Why Read World Literature?” and how does the author most persuasively support her point of view?" Groups drafted a common response and then wrote it on poster paper to share with the class, using a different color for each different type of sentence in the paragraph. We then evaluated each response and identified the BEST elements among them.
