I post here daily about what we accomplished in class each day, including handouts and links available to students on my CANVAS site.
We started class (again) with 10 minutes of independent reading, and then moved into our grammar lesson about dependent clauses that are adjective clauses (see what I did there?). After that, students worked in their groups on assignments from the Julius Caesar lesson: preparing vocabulary lessons, reading selections of the play to summarize for a skit, or preparing to perform the speech. While they worked, I reviewed ACECES paragraphs to provide feedback.
Homework: Vocabulary lessons from Caesar start tomorrow; play sections should be read by tomorrow as well. )Copies of speeches and vocabulary list are available on Canvas under Tragedy and Fate unit/Mini lesson on Julius Caesar.)
