Early Release Schedule Today: Each class meets for approximately 60 minutes.
Honors Classes: Students spent the entire class period in the Media Center working on the Step 1 of the Research Project. They need to complete reading, annotating, and creating note cards for at least three articles by Monday, 12/5. Today was the fourth day this week they had class time for this project; Monday and Friday were the classes in which they had the most time. We will begin working on steps 2 and 3 next week, so it is crucial that everyone completes step 1 over the weekend! Homework: Complete and share note cards on Google Drive with Ms. Houck (email@example.com).
Academic Classes: We started class by writing a revision of a paragraph that lacked sentence variety. After that, we previewed the Pathfinder and Media Center resources for our research project that begins on Monday. I returned research topic assignment sheets to students, so everyone knows his/her research topic. Next, we completed a second journal entry for chapter 1 of Night: Connection. Homework: Read chapter 2 and the first part of chapter 3, pp. 32-43. Complete a Visual journal entry.
