I post here daily about what we accomplished in class each day, including handouts and links available to students on my CANVAS site.
Students had 25 minutes at the beginning of class to read and work on Part 2 written assignments. Next, we practiced sentence variety by going over the possible answers to yesterday's challenge (rewrite a sentence at least 5 different ways) and then by revising a paragraph for sentence variety throughout the paragraph. Finally, we began practicing EOC poetry questions with the poem "Memories." I also collected students' ACES writing assignment due today.
Homework: Finish "Could Have" response poem to turn in tomorrow. Study for vocabulary quiz using group Quizlet. Read/write for Part 2.
