I post here daily about what we accomplished in class each day, including handouts and links available to students on my CANVAS site.
We started class today with free reading time and then moved on to peer editing of hero ACES paragraph planning. Peer editing focused on accomplishing the goals of each section, including quote/evidence selection and quality of commentary along with fundamentals like transitions and sentence beginnings. Next, we reviewed vocabulary from the "Flood" section of Gilgamesh before delving into archetype research and applying that information to both Gilgamesh and the Hebrew flood story. The results of our research are available on Canvas under "Collaborations." This Google document is available to anyone by logging into Google Drive with a WCPSS email login. Tomorrow will we be able to read the final section of Gilgamesh and understand how those archeypes help us see the deeper meaning of the stories.
Homework: Final version of hero ACECES paragraph due on Turnitin.com Wednesday (2/8) by 11:59 pm.
