I post here daily about what we accomplished in class each day, including handouts and links available to students on my CANVAS site.
We started class today with our vocabulary quiz, followed by a review of punctuating compound sentences and independent reading time. After discussing the punctuation review, students had the remainder of the class period to work on compiling a list of ironies from Oedipus Rex to use for their ACES paragraph and parody of Alanis Morrisette's "Ironic" song. The song parody is due tomorrow; the ACES paragraph is due next week, depending on when we finish the seminar.
Homework: Study for OTK/Greek drama quiz and finish seminar preparation notes to turn in.
Coming up: Seminar discussion in class Monday-Tuesday.
ACECES paragraph due Tuesday/Wednesday (TBA).
